Students are permitted to take two physics courses from the aforementioned
list of approved physics courses in the 600 series without having first
enrolled in MAPE. After being accepted into MAPE you may transfer the credit
and apply it toward the MAPE degree. The purpose is to give you the opportunity
to take two physics courses without final committment to help you decide
if this is the proper program for you.
You may be enrolled in a third course while your MAPE application is
pending. However, you must be officially accepted in MAPE before you final
grade is submitted. In addition you must pay the tuition rate that corresponds
to being enrolled in graduate degree program.
