When you log onto WebAssign for the first time, you will need to know your username, institution, and password. You will also need to know your student access code. Here is what you need:

username: this will be your email address less the .edu. For example: stt8z@virginia
institution: virginia (NOTE THAT THIS IS ALL LOWER CASE)
password: 9 digit social security number Example: 123456789
student access code: Professor Thornton will give you a card on the first day of class (Thursday, September 1, 2000) that will have this number.

When you successfully logon to WebAssign, you should change your password. I will always be able to find your username and password in case you forget it. Simply send me an email and ask.
