Week 10 Assignment: Misconceptions

Write a 500 word essay on a student misconception you have encountered in your teaching/learning of physics. The essay should specifically address the misconception, possible origins for the misconception (previous teaching, personal experiences, misinterpretation of a lab/demo, etc.), and ways to teach that correct this misconception. Include at least one demo, lab or computer simulation that could be used in teaching this concept. Upload this essay written in Word into HW19 of Open Portfolio.

Please note that you have significant assignments due for Week 11. This includes two short essays plus a complete lab. You should start on the Week 11 assignment during Week 10.
