Week 13 Assignment: Critical Review - Incorporating Special Technology

Assignment 1: Due April 24, 2006, before 5 a.m. Select an activity from the CTTE Website. Write a critical review (1-2 pages) of the activity using the criteria proposed in Flick & Bell 2000. Be specific about whether or not the activity addresses each tenet of the appropriate use of technology. If not, explain how the activity could be altered in order to satisfy the requirements. Upload as HW26 to Open Portfolio before 5 am on April 24, 2006.

Assignment 2: Due April 24, 2006, before 5 a.m. Select an activity from the Explore Learning website. Using the tenets proposed in Flick & Bell, develop a lesson that incorporates the activity, keeping in mind the the inclusion of the technology should increase student comprehension of the concept over teaching the lesson without the incorporated technology. (Explore Science is not the only acceptable source of activities. However, check with the instructor before using another source.) Upload to Open Portfolio as HW27 before 5 am on April 24, 2006.
