Information Regarding Graduation

Graduation is handled by the Office of Major Events and at this time there has been no mass mailing in regards to graduation.

  • A mass mailing will go out on April 4th which you should receive unless your address has changed since you applied for your degree.

  • A Physics Department mailing will go out at the end of April.

  • To order caps & gowns, contact Theresa Hammond at the University Bookstore, (434) 924-7212 / (800) 759-4667.

  • For information regarding the ceremonies call the Major Events Hotline (434) 982-2908 or visit the website.

    • The Office of Major Events website is http://www.virginia.edu/majorevents/finals.html . This will be your best source of information and should answer most of the questions you may have.
