This page will shortly contain all of the problems in the UVa Physics Department PHd qualifier problem bank as well as a collection of solutions. Many solutions should be available in the middle of the spring '05 semmester. At some point I would also like to add ussage statistics which may or may not prove useful. My goal is to make this a complete set of sollutions by continuing to add problems and solutions as the file bank changes each year. I will make corrections to typos in the bank as well as useful comments, but I will be sure to mark them in red as to distinguish the changes. Please provide feedback conserning anything on this site, especially typos or suspect methods in questions that I have worked and posted. This will ensure an accurate and standard solution set for you and future generations. I hope this proves to be a helpful resource to all those out there in web land.
