Registration/TuitionAcceptanceThe requirement for acceptance into the course is that you are licensed to teach in K-12 grades and you have a degree from a 4 year College. If so, you will also be eligible for the educator rate. Exceptions can be made to the above rule. This also qualifies you for the special K-12 tuition educator rate given below.RegistrationThere are two ways to register.Method 1 Call 434-982-5313 and register over the phone. You may also pay tuition by credit card (VISA, Master Card, Am. Ex) over the phone. Shirley Yowell in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies(SCPS will assist you with registration over the phone. Method II You may also register online through SCPS at http://www.scps.virginia.edu/registeroption.htm. Unless you have experience in registering in one of our programs, it is best to call the first time. Tuition for K-12 Educators - Fall 2004 through Summer 2005For the latest tuition rates, call 434-982-5313. The total cost for registering for a 3 credit distance learning
course is tuition plus technology fee ($12.00) plus materials fee ($25.00).
For a 3 cr. course for an in-state educator the total cost is $637
