Acceptance

The requirement for acceptance into the course is that you are licensed to teach in K-12 grades and you have a degree from a 4 year College. If so, you will also be eligible for the educator rate. Exceptions can be made to the above rule. This also qualifies you for the special K-12 tuition educator rate given below. You must also have taken calculus.

Method I

Call 434-982-5313 and register over the phone. You may also pay tuition by credit card (VISA, Master Card, Am. Ex) over the phone. Shirley Yowell in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies(SCPS will assist you with registration over the phone.

You may also register online through SCPS at http://www.scps.virginia.edu/registeroption.htm. Unless you have experience in registering in one of our programs, it is best to call the first time. Tuition for K-12 Educators - Summer 2005 through Summer 2006

The tuition shown is a special K-12 Educator rate. Additional fees include a $4/credit hour technology charge and a $25 course material fee. The course material fee may not be charged if you register online. It will have to be paid separately. We are very pleased that the tuition for these courses is not being increased for yet one more year!
